At nonnotte, we have used a standard material called back satin gabardine every season, but when we looked back at our closets in recent years, we felt that we were finding more and more fabrics with twill-like weaves, so we decided to revamp our material this time and use a weave called doeskin.

Doeskin is a woven fabric based on twill weave that imitates the look of deerskin, or male deer leather.Unlike twill, it does not have an unpleasant sheen, and unlike gabardine, it does not have a casual look.It has a chewy texture, moderate sheen, and an elegant look.

Normally, this material is milled to resemble deerskin, but at nonnotte we aimed to give doeskin a more modern look by using our own special softening method and clear finish.

I would also like to propose this as a material that can be worn throughout all four seasons.

This style has been named the "N jacket" and will be offered as nonnotte's signature jacket starting this season.

When I was searching for a collarless jacket myself, I felt that the collarless jackets on the market were polarized into two types; those with tight sleeves and those with loose sleeves.

Since it didn't suit me at all, I thought there must be many Japanese people who feel the same way and can't find anything that suits them, so I started making this.

I put a lot of effort into the silhouette, and what sets it apart is that it has the sleeves of a jacket but is loose like a blouson, and the shoulders are slightly dropped, so I imagined a jacket that can be easily put on like a cardigan, which I think suits the balance of Japanese people best.

It has two inner pockets and a beautiful jacket with a good silhouette on the outside. Each material has a different look, so please take this opportunity to try it out.
