The material used is 2/60 Oshu plain weave merino wool for both the warp and weft, a material that represents the ultimate in beauty within the orthodox tradition.

When designer Sugihara himself looked into his closet, he realized that out of all the items he owned in overwhelming numbers, pants were by far the most common, but for some reason he didn't own a single pair of plain-weave wool poplin.

For this reason, the first item is a slightly reddish black color known in Europe as "Chanel Black."

This wool poplin is dense yet maintains the breathability that is unique to plain weave, and is characterized by its firm and elastic drape and natural horizontal ridges and luster.

Poplin is wrinkle-resistant, has a firm texture, and has a solid look that gabardine does not have, making it an ideal piece for everyday wear.

The silhouette is a wide silhouette with one tuck.

The waist is elastic so it can be worn by anyone regardless of body type.
